On Saturday 4th May 2019, I photographed the wedding of Carrie-Anne Ellis and Michael Pedrini The Lion Quays Hotel in Shropshire.
A gorgeous sunny fun filled, relaxed and entertaining day that set the scene for what was the perfect Star Wars themed wedding.
”Dana and her assistant (husband lol) really made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. Her professionalism and ability to have a laugh really made our day and she captured our day amazingly (even putting up with our requests lol). Would 100% recommend Dana. Thank you so much for everything! Xxx”
- Carrie Ellis-Pedrini (Bride)
I started my day, as I often do, with the bride and her bridesmaids and flowegirls as they were putting the finishing touches to their hair and makeup.
The flower girls enjoyed the posing and performing princess swirls to pass the time away before their big ceremony entrance.
Thereafter, I went to meet with Michael who was awaiting the arrival of his absolutely stunning bride to be with his best man Aaron by his side.
As the music began the flower girls and page boy made their way down the aisle holding lightsabers and a cute sign held by the page boy letting every single lady know…
“Don’t worry ladies, i’m still single!” This kid is seriously going to break some hearts!
A beautiful ceremony which heard readings by both mothers of the Bride and Groom.
Laughter, tears, smiles and emotions as Michael and Carrie became husband and wife.
We now pronounce them Mr & Mrs Ellis-Pedrini.
After the beautiful wedding ceremony, the guests and newlyweds enjoyed a few drinks and in the sunny grounds before we all we took some photos.
We had some fun ones, official ones and some they will be proud to have on their fireplace.
We then headed in for the speeches and wedding breakfast.
I’ve photographed a lot of weddings now and I’ve witnessed and heard some amazing speeches.
This was the first wedding I have photographed where a family member of the bride who could not be there for her special day as she was in New Zealand sent her a wedding video and serenaded her and her new husband with a song.
It’s fair to say their was not a dry eye in the house… including mine!
Thank you again to Mr & Mrs Ellis-Pedrini for trusting me to capture your incredible wedding day.
