DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IN SHROPSHIRE
Shropshire Wedding Photographer & Videographer Covering Staffordshire, West Midlands & Beyond
You are not planning a photoshoot. You are planning a day that moves quickly, feels full, and means everything.
The moments you will remember are not the ones you pose for. They are the ones that happen without warning. The look across the room. The noise before the ceremony. The quiet seconds no one else notices.
That is where the real story is.
Most of the day is photographed as it unfolds, naturally and without interruption. Then, when it matters, I step in briefly to guide you. Just enough to help things feel comfortable, look right, and create something more considered without taking you out of the moment.
Nothing stiff. Nothing forced. Just a calm, natural approach that lets you enjoy your day while everything is captured with care.

Relaxed, Documentary Coverage With A Refined Edge
Most couples feel unsure in front of a camera. That is completely normal.
You are not expected to perform or get it right. I guide you in a way that feels natural, so you are not stood there overthinking or wondering what to do.
The majority of your day is left alone. That is where the strongest images come from.
Then, when the moment calls for it, we take a short amount of time to create something more intentional. Making the most of the light, the space, and the atmosphere without overcomplicating anything.
Those are often the images that stay with you.
With over a decade of experience photographing weddings across Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands, I know how to handle whatever the day brings without adding pressure to it.
Weddings are unpredictable. Timelines shift, light changes, and things do not always run exactly to plan. That is part of it.
From low light to bright sun, from quiet moments to busy rooms, everything is handled with the same calm, consistent approach so you can focus on enjoying your day rather than thinking about what is happening around you.

about you
Your Wedding Isn’t Generic. Your Photography Shouldn’t Be Either.
No two weddings feel the same, and they should not be photographed the same way.
Some moments happen naturally. Others are worth taking a little time to create properly.
That balance is what gives you a gallery that feels honest, considered, and complete.
Nothing overworked. Nothing forced. Just a consistent approach that reflects what it felt like to be there, while still creating images that stand out.
I am based in Shropshire and regularly photograph weddings across Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands. Whether it is a smaller, relaxed venue or a larger, high energy wedding, the focus stays the same, people, atmosphere, and what is actually happening.

The photographer
I am Dana.
My approach is simple. Keep things calm, keep things easy, and let the day unfold naturally. I blend in when needed, step in when it helps, and guide you just enough to make sure nothing feels awkward or forced.
There is always a bit of laughter, a bit of banter, and a relaxed feel throughout the day. Nothing overly serious, nothing uncomfortable. Just a way of working that helps you feel like yourselves.
Most couples say they barely noticed me at times, but would not want to imagine the day without me there. That is exactly how it should feel.
Full day wedding photography begins at £1,695, and photography and videography collections begin at £2,995. I take on a limited number of weddings each year to keep this level of attention, consistency, and care.
If photography matters to you, I would love to hear what you are planning.
