DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IN SHROPSHIRE
Shropshire Wedding Photographer & Videographer Covering Staffordshire, West Midlands & Beyond
Natural moments first. Creativity when it matters.
You are not planning a photoshoot. You are planning a day that moves quickly, feels full, and means everything.
The way your hands find each other without thinking. The noise, the nerves, the quiet moments in between. Those are the things that last.
I’m Dana, a Shropshire wedding photographer documenting days as they actually felt, not how they were staged. So you can stay present in it, while everything is captured with care, intention, and a refined creative eye.
what to expect
Most of your day does not need direction. It unfolds naturally, and that is where the best photographs live.
The laughter. The movement. The moments you did not even realise were happening. I stay close without taking over, observing and anticipating as things unfold.
Then, when it feels right, I will gently guide you for a few minutes.
Nothing forced.
Nothing that pulls you away from your day. Just enough to create something considered and elevated, alongside everything honest and unplanned.
Weddings rarely run exactly to plan. Timelines shift. Light changes. Energy moves throughout the day.
With over a decade of experience photographing weddings at venues such as Hawkstone Hall, Sandon Hall, Thorpe Garden and Bredenbury Court, I know how to adapt without bringing stress into the room.
You do not need someone chasing perfect conditions. You need someone calm, aware, and quietly in control behind the scenes. So you can focus on being there, not managing the day.

about you
This is not about perfect photos. It is about how it felt to be there.
No two weddings feel the same, and they should not be photographed that way. Your day is shaped by your people, your energy, and what matters most to you.
Whether you are planning a countryside wedding in Shropshire, a manor house in Staffordshire, or something more modern in the West Midlands, the approach stays consistent.
Honest.
Unforced.
Thoughtful.
With true to colour editing that reflects the day as it was, not something overworked or trend driven.
I am based in Shropshire and regularly photograph weddings across Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands.
From quiet rural venues to large, elegant spaces, the focus is always the same. People, atmosphere, and the way the day unfolds.
If you are planning something further afield, I am always open to travel.
The photographer
I am Dana, a documentary wedding photographer based in Shropshire.
My approach is simple. Stay present. Keep things calm. Notice what matters. I will blend in when I need to, step in when it helps, and make sure you feel completely at ease throughout.
Most couples tell me afterwards they barely noticed me, but would not want to imagine the day without me there. That is exactly how it should feel.
Thoughtful coverage, without compromise
Full day wedding photography begins at £1,695. Photography and videography collections begin at £2,995.
Most couples choose full day coverage so the story is complete, from the quiet start of the morning through to the energy of the evening.
If photography matters to you, and you want to feel completely relaxed knowing your day is in safe hands, I would love to hear about your plans.
